Dr. Hal Teitelbaum is the Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Run Healthcare—a premier multi-specialty group medical practice. Dr. Teitelbaum completed his training in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. After beginning his career in full-time academic practice, Dr. Teitelbaum established a solo practice in Orange County, New York, in 1982. He established Crystal Run Healthcare in 1996. Dr. Teitelbaum is a 1998 Honors graduate of Columbia Business School, where he earned his MBA. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School, Class of 2012, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Dr. Teitelbaum’s dedication and drive have resulted in Crystal Run Healthcare being recognized as a market leader in healthcare delivery in Orange and Sullivan Counties and beyond, and have contributed significantly to raising the bar in medical care throughout the region. Under Dr. Teitlebaum’s leadership, Crystal Run Healthcare was an early adopter of electronic health records and has fully embraced the philosophy of value-based medical care. Crystal Run Healthcare is also known for its philanthropic support of many outstanding community organizations.
Dr. Teitelbaum’s community commitment is evidenced by his dedication to improving the access to and quality of healthcare in the Hudson Valley. Dr. Teitelbaum is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA); a member of the CEO Council of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA); a Member of the New York State Bar Association; a member, with Advanced Standing, in the American College of Physician Executives; a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York; and a Member of the American Medical Association, among other professional associations.
Dr. Teitelbaum and his wife Jennifer have a son, Josh. Dr. and Mrs. Teitelbaum reside in Bethel, NY. In his free time, Dr. Teitelbaum enjoys photography and spending time with his family and friends.
