Douglas Sansted is the Chief Legal Officer at Crystal Run Healthcare. Mr. Sansted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the City University of New York Hunter College where he was a summa cum laude graduate and class valedictorian. Mr. Sansted earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law in New York, NY. Mr. Sansted is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
Mr. Sansted joined Crystal Run Healthcare in 2011 as Chief Legal Officer. In this executive role, Mr. Sansted leads the coordination of all legal services for the practice, including compliance with policies and regulations. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the practice’s Executive Leadership team.
Prior to joining Crystal Run, Mr. Sansted was Associate General Counsel at the Archdiocese of New York and acted as general counsel to ArchCare, its healthcare system. Previously, Mr. Sansted was a healthcare associate in the New York office of Manatt Phelps and Philips, where he represented health systems and other healthcare providers and payors in corporate and regulatory matters.
